‘I first went to see Dr Max when my right hand seized up completely. I could do nothing with it, not even open it and it had no strength in it all – I am right handed for goodness’ sake so this was hitting some panic buttons.
Dr Max treated me with needles along the muscles of my arm and in the back of my hand for several visits, to no particular avail – at every stage of the treatment he would explain and even show me from a book or his own drawings what he was doing. However, he then changed the treatment slightly and recommended exercises in conjunction with the acupuncture to stretch the muscles in my hand and arm. [I didn’t realise I had muscles in the back of my hand!] Within a very short length of time my hand was restored to normal working and has remained so ever since. My left hand began to seize up and I applied the exercises to that arm and hand and now I have very little trouble with them at all. Caused by the onset of arthritis? I don’t know; all I do know is that as far as my hands are concerned, I am cured! Thank you Dr Max – it was a joy to visit you and to be educated by drawing and picture how my hand worked. I guess it will be my feet next!’
